The stupid, pointless rules I live by.
I think we all make up a set of rules in our heads. Mine are pointless and silly. Here are a few of them.
-If there is something green on my plate, such as salad, it has to be on the left side of the plate. I cannot eat anything off the plate if the green stuff is not exactly on the left side.
-When I put a CD in or turn music on, I have to turn the volume down to 0 until I know for a fact that there is sound coming out, and then slowly turn the volume back up to an acceptable level.
-The books on my bookshelf must be in height order, going from tallest on the left side, to smallest on the right.
-Corners have to line up on things, such as a book on my desk must line up with at least one edge.
-I have to set my alarm for 5 minutes earlier than when I want to get up.
-I can only set my alarm for times ending in 3,4,7 or 9.
-I have to turn the kettle off before it clicks off itself
-I have to stop the toaster before it pops up
-If I’m expecting a text or phonecall, I have to put my phone on silent, or at least vibrate, then watch it until the text/phonecall arrives.
-There can be no gaps at all in closed curtains.
-When I had a paper run, if there was a bunch of letterboxes next to each other, I’d have to fill them from bottom to top. If there was an A,B,C, I would have to do them in the order c,b,a.
There are more stupid rules that I live by, but that’s enough for now :P… I might add that Obsessive Compulsive Disorder does run in my family…

Question 1: What is the first thing you see in the morning. Usually followed by the thought ‘crap, that can’t be the time’
Excuse the tinyness of the photo. Flickr is being a dick.

The beginning
I will use this blog mainly for photos and that sort of rubbish, but I might add in the occasional post too.
The first thing I’m intending to do is a photographic interview. i.e… a photo to answer each of the following questions.
1. What is the first thing you see in the morning?
2. The biggest thing to happen to you recently/soon?
3. Your best mirror shot
4. The person that you see the most in a week
5. Your favourite shoes
6. Your favourite meal
7. The colour of your eyes
8. Your favourite place to be on a Friday night
